Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology

The Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology (TNAO) is an association comprised of member ophthalmologists (eye medical doctors) who pay dues to belong to the association.  Most TNAO members are also members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Ophthalmologists are located in all areas of Tennessee, including urban and rural areas. The majority of Tennessee residents in rural areas are within a 30-45 minute drive of an ophthalmologist. 

Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who have special education and training in the diagnosis, treatment, management, and surgery of the human eye.
